Just got home with my copy of Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty Collector’s Edition. Here is what is inside… it is beautiful.
The Box.
The box next to a hardcover book for size comparison.
The box open. Very cool design.
The game DVD and the Behind the Scenes DVD.
Inside the game DVD and the Behind the Scenes DVD.
It comes with two Starcraft II 7hr/14 day(whichever comes fiirst) and two World of Warcraft 10 day guest passes. Pretty nice.
The art book and the comic. The art is gorgeous… as always. Blizzard really knows how to put together an art book.
The Jim Raynor dog tag. It is also a USB flash drive containing the original Starcraft and the Brood Wars expansion. Very nice build quality on this. It is made with actual metal, not plastic made to look like metal. The slide mechanism on the USB connector is very solid as well. An extremely awesome piece for a CE.
The SC2: WoL soundtrack.
And here is everything that came in the box. Definitely worth the price for the Collector’s Edition. Oh yeah, and you also get exclusive Battle.Net downloadable content and a mini Thor in game World of Warcraft pet.
This will go very nicely with my Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King Collector’s Editions. Once again Blizzard has put an incredible array of stuff in the box for their customers willing to throw down a little more cash. I’m pretty sure I will buy any CE Blizzard releases… just for the extra stuff.
